Less than two days after leading Independence High to a dramatic 21-19 season-opening victory over Clovis North, Falcons quarterback Tyler Schilhabel suffered an ATV accident Sunday, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down at Stanford Hospital, the Bakersfield Californian reported.

Marshall man dies in ATV accident
Anthony Charles Case, 58, of Marshall, died Friday after his ATV was hit by a truck. Case was pulling out of his residence on N.C. 208 near the North Carolina border with Tennessee around 3:53 p.m. and did not see a truck traveling on the highway.
